Stretching alone will not always alleviate muscle tensions. Often the only way to work out the muscle tension, is to apply pressure, which a foam roller does beautifully.
A foam roll is a great technique for stretching and myofascial massage.

About Gina:
Gina Tibbs, HHP & CMT, has been practicing massage since 1999. Having such a physically demanding job and having clients who expect the best performance out of their own bodies has led her to explore an array of techniques for self-healing & self-care.
She has been a teacher of Reiki & massage therapy in San Diego and now happily relocated to the Bay area, settling in and excited to be teaching again.
